What dermaplaning is NOT:

*Shaving

*done at home with any store razor that says “dermaplane”

Contraindications

Botox or Fillers: You can get dermaplaning done before injections, just not immediately after. Wait at least one week after being injected.

Chemical Peels: wait 14+ days after your last chemical peel. You can dermaplane before

IPL: dermaplaning may be done prior. Post-IPL wait 10+ days

Laser treatments: post-laser wait 14+ days

Retin-A: cannot use 5 days prior or after
